Larry Sinclair's Accusations:

UPDATE:

When I first created this page I had no direct experience with Mr. Sinclair and, as such, refrained from any statements regarding his character.

When the polygraphs (that he voluntarily submitted to) were reported to have indicated deception, I still refrained from any statements about his character.

That has since changed.

I can now state - based on first-hand experience - that Larry Sinclair is a liar.

Example 1:

In his Friday, March 14th post on his blog, Larry wrote:

I contacted Mr. Tarlow not 15 minutes ago and asked him why he felt the need to register a web site of my name. Mr. Tarlow stated “because you are a news worthy name at this time…” I asked Mr. Tarlow if he would sell the site name and he replied “I am sure that I will sell it because I have received several lucrative offers already.”

It is true that I spoke with Mr. Sinclair on March 14th and it is also true that I stated my belief he was news-worthy when I registered the domain.

But we never discussed selling the domain name and I never made the statement (or any remotely similar) regarding having received offers (lucrative or otherwise) to purchase the domain. A third party witness who was listening to my end of the conversation can testify to this.

Example 2:

On Mr. Sinclair's own blog (in regards to this web page's domain) he makes the statement: "I never made any request for the domain...".

In fact, in his email to me (following our phone conversation), Mr. Sinclair writes: "I am sending you a certified letter to the address listed on the domain registration requesting you release the domain name to me and should you decide to deny my request I will file the necessary civil action to obtain the rights to my own name."

Seems pretty straight forward. You be the judge.

Welcome.

I'll assume that you've found this page searching for information on Larry Sinclair and his allegations.

There is a lot of speculation and opinion online. What follows, though, are a couple of uncontested facts:

  • Mr. Sinclair has not provided the public with a single bit of evidence.
  • There are highly motivated people who are passionate about influencing this election. Some of them are unethical.
  • Mr. Sinclair's story has already earned him $10,000. That money is being paid to him by Dan Parisi, an internet entrepreneur who, according to press accounts, built his fortune in the online pornography industry.

There really isn't a whole lot more than that.

So engage in the political process - and bring a critical eye to everything the candidates, the pundits, and the average citizen have to say. Invest at least as much in choosing your candidates as you would buying a new TV.

And vote as if your life depends on it – because it does.
